Meet Tetyana Duggan, LLMSW
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
Every human being has the capability to overcome life’s challenges and barriers through the power of resiliency. When we get stuck in a rut feeling anxious, stressed, and depressed, we can forget how strong and courageous we truly are.
I already admire your bravery and willingness to seek help and believe it will guide you down the path of self-growth and transformation. In our work together, my goal is to help you identify and build upon your innate strengths to facilitate your healing journey.
It is my deepest intention to create a trusting relationship at a pace which feels comfortable for you where you feel seen, heard, and validated in sharing your experiences. In a collaborative effort, we will work on an individualized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs while honoring your personal values and beliefs.
In order to reach your goals, we will explore coping tools and utilize evidence-based strategies to help you manage symptoms of mental health and navigate day-to-day stressors. The inner work you choose to do will help you build a meaningful and fulfilling life with a renewed sense of purpose.
Location: Brighton, MI

What kind of clients tend to feel most at home in your work?
Adults seeking support for depression, anxiety, trauma, and life adjustments tend to feel most at home in my work. Many are navigating stress, uncertainty, or major transitions and are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves and build effective coping tools.
What is something you wish more clients know about therapy before starting?
I wish clients knew that therapy takes time and that much of the work happens outside of sessions. Therapy is a non-judgmental space, but it may also include honest feedback and gentle accountability.
What do you most want clients to feel when they are in the room with you?
My top priority is for clients to feel safe and not judged. I want them to know it’s okay to move at their own pace, to set boundaries, and to trust that they’ll be met with respect and understanding throughout the process.
What would you say to someone who feels hesitant or nervous about starting therapy?
If you’re feeling hesitant or nervous, that’s completely normal. You don’t have to commit to anything beyond the first session. Just come as you are and see how it feels
How do you recharge?
Spending time with my husband and two sons, reading, and going for walks helps me recharge and stay grounded.
